Sindh Health Minister Dr Saghir Ahmed has enforced emergency at all teaching and other government hospitals of the province on the eve of 3rd death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. The minister directed all medical superintendents of government hospitals to keep the emergency and accident wards of their relevant hospitals functional and ensure availability of sufficient life-saving medicines, doctors and other medical staff so as to meet emergency cases. He issued special instructions to MS Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana and EDOs of Larkana, Kashmore and Jacobabad to be present at their relevant hospitals so as to meet any emergency situation timely and properly. The minister asked them to ensure provision of immediate medical treatment with medicines on this occasion, adding no dereliction in this regard could be tolerated.
